There are multiple ways to reach the Spell Hit Cap of 5%. If you haven’t reached 5% yet, your second BiS option is sometimes better if it provides hit chance. For example, if you have less than 5% Spell Hit, Cord of the Untamed is better than Belt of the Forsaken Worshipper. If you can reach 5% hit without Cord of the Untamed, Belt of the Forsaken Worshipper is superior. Madness of the Avatar with Belt of the Forsaken Worshipper is stronger than Hubris, the Bandit Brander with Cord of the Untamed, if you have all options available.
Use our Epic Crafting Guide for Phase 3 to learn how to craft Glowing Hyperconductive Scale Coif and Membrane of Dark Neurosis.
Elemental Shaman Stat Priority
As an Elemental Shaman you want to prioritize gear with the following stats:
- Up to 16% Spell Hit Chance against level 60 raid bosses.
- Spell Critical Hit
- Intellect
- Spell Damage = Nature Damage
After reaching the hit cap, more Hit Chance has no additional value. Due to the Spell Hit Chance from your finger runes, you only need 10% Spell Hit Chance from your gear.
Shaman Macros in WoW Classic
