Our Return to Learning starts on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, through the itsLearning Learning Management System. To ensure students are first-day ready, our schools are requesting parents to ensure their child(ren) can login to the district's network using their school issued student login ID and password from last year or for new student(s) their newly issued student login ID and password.
All enrolled students are required to test their login information prior to August 19.
Make sure to test your child's login today! We want all students first-day ready to access their teacher's online classroom and instruction!
Note: New students to the district will not have student login ID and passwords until 24-48 hours after they are enrolled in PowerSchool.
If your child(ren) has not been issued a student login ID or are unable to login with their existing information, please contact your school immediate or fill out the support form that is linked below.
How do I know if my Student ID and password will work?
- Students with a school-issued Chromebook:
If you can log into the Chromebook using the student ID and password, and can surf the Internet, you are ready to learn!
- Students with a school issued iPad:
- Using the iPad's browser, go to portal.office.com
- Under Sign-in, enter your student ID followed by @students.sccpss.com. (Example, 55debfel@students.sccpss.com)
- Click next
- SCCPSS portal page comes up
- Enter your password and click sign in
- If you can access the Office 365 portal page, you are ready to learn!
- Students using a Personal Learning Device:
- Using the device's browser, go to portal.office.com
- Under Sign-in, enter your student ID followed by @students.sccpss.com (Example, 55debfel@students.sccpss.com)
- Click next
- SCCPSS portal page comes up
- Enter your password and click sign in
- If you can access the Office 365 portal page, you are ready to learn!
- Students using a smartphone:
- On your smartphone, download the app “itslearning"
- Click open and search for “Savannah Chatham County School District"
- Choose “Savannah Chatham Email"
- SCCPSS Portal page comes up
- Under Sign-in, enter your student ID followed by @students.sccpss.com (Example, 55debfel@students.sccpss.com)
- Click next
- Enter your password and click sign in
- If you access itsLearning, you are ready to learn!
How do I connect to WiFi?
- I have a Chromebook and need guidance. No problem. Click here for a review.
- I have an iPad and need guidance. No problem. Here are the instructions:
- Select the Settings Icon, select Wi-Fi and ensure Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Select the network WiFi to connect and enter a password, if required.
- The network WiFi icon appears at the top of the screen. This indicates that the iPad is connected to a WiFi network.
- Open Safari and try to surf the Internet.
- If you can surf the Internet, you are ready to learn!
Can I manage my password?
Students can manage their password once they setup service through the Password Reset Registration Link. For step by step instruction and video click here.
You can also go to the district's public website at www.sccpss.com, click "Family and Students" tab and locate the "Student/Parent Tools" Menu and click on "Password Reset Registration"
Troubleshooting Tips and Support

My child has forgotten his/her password. | If you have registered for the password reset application, you can reset your password using the Password Reset Registration solution. When my child attempts to login, the error message “Authentication Failed" is displayed. | Check to make sure you are entering the student ID and password correctly and that there are no spaces. Passwords are case sensitive. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the teacher/school for assistance or fill out the form below. |
On my personal device, I am certain my student is using the correct student ID and password. The “Authentication Failed" error message still appears. | This may be due to the computer having cached another user's information. You can clear the browser history/cache by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Delete or Command+Shift+Delete while in the browser and ensure no one else is logged in. You can then attempt to log in again. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the teacher/school for assistance or fill out the form below. |
My child still does not have a student ID or password. | Please contact the school for assistance or fill out the form below. |
Have all students received a student ID and password? | Student ID and passwords from the previous school year will continue to work unless they were reset by your child's school. If you are new to the district, it will take 24-48hrs after the student is enrolled in PowerSchool to have one available for your child. |
My child has not received a student learning device. | The district is moving towards 1:1 as quickly as possible. If your child has not been issued a student learning device, please contact your school for a paper learning packet. |
I have not received a parent login ID and password to the itsLearning Platform | The itsLearning parent login will be ready for you in September - stay tuned for more information on this great resource.
